Voice Notes Activity: How I Learned English

This activity was a team task where we asked each other how we learned English. After listening to our classmates, we went to the patio and recorded voice notes, commenting on what we remembered about the topic. It was a challenging activity because it forced us to speak in a spontaneous way, and we also had to remember the facts about our classmates’ experiences.

How this helps me as a future teacher

I agree with the use of voice notes to practice English. Actually, I use them in my class, which help students develop memory because they need to remember what they want to say. It also helps them improve fluency. Most importantly, voice notes build self-confidence because students can record and listen to themselves as many times as they need before sharing their ideas.
